Putting the individual and their needs at the heart of our services ensures our staff provide a person-centred and a customised level of help unique to us

About you

As an Advanced Behaviour Mentor, you will play a critical role in building trusting,

resilience needed to navigate life more successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and group support to children and young people with high needs.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques.
  • Work closely with young people at risk of criminal and sexual exploitation, such as involvement in county lines, substance misuse, or abusive relationships, supporting them in making safer, healthier choices.
  • Build meaningful relationships that encourage trust and cooperation.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to create tailored support plans.
  • Work flexible hours, including day shifts and sleepovers, ensuring consistent support for the young people.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with high-needs young people, particularly those displaying challenging or aggressive behaviour.
  • Relevant qualifications in social work, youth work, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
  • Empathy, resilience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • A commitment to fostering positive relationships and creating a supportive environment for young people.

If you are passionate about making a difference and have the skills to mentor and guide young people facing complex challenges, we encourage you to apply for this role.
